I am from the rural south and love what folks here call “the country.” It grieves my heart to see the woods disappearing and to know that time spent in the growth of such awesome trees, shrubs and bushes cannot be duplicated with planting of pine trees. I love the shade covered dirt roads that still remain, what few there are. I have many joys in my life including my children, grandchildren, family and friends. I love tennis, ergo the forty-love. I hope to share my thoughts, dreams, discoveries, etc on this blog.
